Active members should now be aware that, in addition to the printed version of our newsletter, LitComs, we periodically will be sending out an electronic issue.  This will be delivered via email.

Our crew records include many out-of-date email addresses - and we also have over 100 members who have not registered an email address.

In order to stay current on all the news of the Association, including updates on the progress of the new USS Little Rock (LCS-9), please make sure we have a correct email address for you.

If you haven't received the e-LitComs sent on August 30th, then you need to contact us with your email information.

Easiest way to do this is to send an email to littlerockassn@yahoo.com.

To all members - a second e-LitComs was sent on October 30.  If you did not receive this communication you should make sure that we have your correct email address.

There are many members whose email addresses are out of date and many others for whom we have none at all.

If you would like to keep current on Association news, including updates on the progress of LCS-9, please inform us of your email address.  Send it to littlerockassn@yahoo.com

Thanks.

A year-end issue of our e-LitComs was sent out in mid-December.

Currently we have a correct email address for only about 80% of our members.

If you have not received these electronic editions, you need to inform us of your current email address.

This may be done on here - or by emailing to littlerockassn@yahoo.com

Thanks.

If you are a member of the USS Little Rock Association and if you have not been receiving our e-mail version of LitComs you are missing out on information and the latest news of your shipmates, the ship itself and the upcoming commissioning of the new USS Little Rock.

There are over 150 members for whom we have either an incorrect email address or none at all.

So - if you'd like to get the benefit of your membership, why not inform us of your current email address?  You'll be glad you did!  [smile]

Shipmates:

If you are reading this and have never received an issue of our e-LitComs via email, you're missing out on up-to-date news of the Association, the ship and of plans as they develop for the commissioning of the new Little Rock, LCS-9. We also will include notifications of new members and deceased shipmates, among other info.

With our electronic social media effort, we are supplementing the print LitComs which is published three times per year.  This faster method of reaching our members allows us to get out the latest word to our members.

So - if you've not been on the receiving end of these e-newsletters, why not send us your email address so we might add you to the list?

Let us know at:  littlerockassn@yahoo.com

Pushing this topic to the top.

We have many members who are not receiving issues of our electronic newsletter - e-LitComs.

If you are one of these, please let us know your email address so we can communicate with you.

An e-LitComs is sent every two months or so - more frequently if there is important news to broadcast.  You're really missing out if you're not on our mailing list.

You could respond on here - or send an email to littlerockassn@yahoo.com.

(My telephone number is 203-355-9314 - for person-to-person service!)

To the top.

There are over 160 Association members who have not advised us of their email address, or who have changed it and forgot to send us an update.

If you are one of these members, please note that you'll be missing out on prompt delivery of our electronic edition of LitComs.  We do send via post to you, but this delays your receiving the newsletter by at least 10 days.

Please remember that under no circumstances do we ever disclose our members' email addresses.  These are used for Association communications only.

If you're not receiving LitComs via email - let us know.  Thanks
