Little Rock crew had to ride the boats to visit this city.
It's my favorite port.  Great food!
Any idea?

Dubrovnik it is.

The cities of Dubrovnik and Split would be great models if Disney were to build a medieval city.  Does anyone remember walking atop the old city walls, or sitting for an hour or so at one of the outdoor tables on the city’s main street to eat, drink and watch the parade of people?

I’ve attached a picture of Stradun, the city’s main street and one from atop the city wall.

It's becoming apparent that Dubrovnik is one of those places you MUST see before you die....  At least that is the impression I am getting from a lot of folks.

My son visited there last year and came back raving about "Dubrovnik". (And he has inherited good taste from his Old Man.)

I'm going to have to put it on my "Must Do...." list.

Actually, I have put together a website start-up page for "Places We've Visited". (Click for the LINK.)  I've gotten a few things together for Villefranche and for Gaeta. I guess Dubrovnik is next.

Start looking through your stuff....  we'll be needing some more photos. And your thoughts!
